Happy New Year!!! WOW---2008!!

We'd like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Our New Year's Eve was going to be uneventful as we didn't want to have Da'Gorgeouses out in the cold. Instead, DrillSgt. and I decided to throw a small (very small) get together and invited my parents, ta-ta-ta & Mík, and the G. We attempted to make my MIL recipe for posolé, which turned out terrific!! Grammy made buñuelos, so did the G (delicious), and ta-ta-ta made cupcakes and cookies! Needless to say our holiday revolved around food, don't they all? And we stuck with our family tradition of ringing in the New Year by eating dinner! Yup, I know, crazy, but that's been a tradition in our family for years.
