when we went to Sea World. Da'Gorgeouses loved it and the weather was

I always dreamed of becoming a marine biologist &
working at Sea World. Instead I majored in biology
and married a marine! LOL!!

I should probably just get over it, because truthfully it could be the case, but dang it, it just really offends me! You might be wondering what I'm talking about, well, it happened again. DrillSgt. and I took Da'Gorgeouses out for lunch yesterday (and yes, we were on the other side of town again--the same side it happened the first time) and our cute, really young waitress asked as we were leaving, "Are they your granddaughters?" I must have had one, if not BOTH of the following looks on my face!




Of course I just managed to stammer out, "No, we just started late. I'll be 39 in a few days." If she only knew what I'd been through to even get them. I really have to come up with something clever to say, any suggestions?

In Case You Were Wondering...

She did make it ALL the way up. Only I had to put my camera down and head over there (just in case) because my heart wouldn't stop trying to beat itself right out of my chest, my stomach was doing flip-flops and I won't even tell you what else was happening to me as I watched her attempt all of these! LOL!!

Awww...I Love Her Too!

Sometimes I'm just very lucky and happen to catch just the sweetest moments! Here's Pistol and my aunt (TiaTela) whom I happen to love very much too!

She's a super great aunt and a wonderful person. My mom's youngest sis and only a few years older than me. She's shared many a secret of mine along the way, and has often been the first to hear many a good news (and not so good news) from me. I know exactly why Da'Gorgeouses love her so much!





I couldn't decide whether I liked the color or b&w the best, so I posted them both!

A Day @ The Park In Sepia

June 16th~ I ♥ Faces: Sepia Toned

I had a difficult time choosing which sepia toned photo I wanted to enter into the I ♥ Faces Sepia contest this week. I decided this one spoke to me the most. I totally love the fact that, for the most part, Da'Gorgeouses get along so well. Makes me feel better about having them later in life, at least they'll have each other!
